I was standing on stage speaking & empowering thousands of people. A rush of life burst through my veins, passion filled my body, & purpose sang in my heart. I was living my calling of being a speaker.
>>FLASH!!!<< Suddenly my eyes opened & there I stood, alone in my basement, speaking to Spongebob, Thumper, & Rex from Toy Story for free.
Yet, despite the differing conditions of my position, I wasn’t upset. In fact, I could still feel the power of passion & purpose radiate through my body. I know, you’re probably like, “Mike, how you happy? You’re a grown ass man speaking to stuffed animals?” You’re right! I’ll admit, this picture looks nuts! But let me share something that life has taught me, the next dimension isn’t foreign from this dimension, its an escalation from a process that’s already been set in motion.
Everything you’re going to be you already are in another form. You’re the acorn of an oak tree. An acorn doesn’t look anything like an oak tree. It doesn’t have the leaves & branches, its just a nut. Its ok to look like a NUT!!! Because everything that an Oak Tree is, is in the acorn & everything that you’ll ever be, is already in you, right now, even though it hasn’t shaped out yet.
So what’s in front of you right now?
At Herbalife’s January Kickoff, guest speaker Graeme Edwards said, “Take care of what you have.” The problem is many of us want promotion without process. We’re asking for more & haven’t mastered less. We’re so busy starving the seed trying to get to the tree that we cancel out the potential of being a tree because we don’t feed where we are.
So lets stop worrying about the tree and water what we have now!
Go Ahead & Rehearse!
Go Ahead & speak life into Spongebob, Thumper, & Rex from Toy Story
Go Ahead & jump up & down alone in your basement yelling, “LETS GETTTT IT!!”
After scaring those in shouting distance, if you keep on watering, if you keep on rehearsing, if you keep on speaking to stuffed animals as if they were a sold out crowd, where you started will turn into where you’re going! Its already in you!
